Who’s on the ballot?

We’re four weeks out from the midterm election and control of the Senate is in doubt. The Republicans need a net gain of six seats for the majority and thanks to Kansas it’s not looking like a slam dunk the Republicans will win the necessary seats. But the odds are still in their favor.

There are many Democrats who are doing their best to make the election about anything other than President Obama and, given voter opposition to President Obama is higher now than it was against Clinton or even George W Bush, this is a wise maneuver.

Fortunately, the Republicans can count on the President to put this election in proper perspective:
