This is an addendum to my previous post from early this morning. In the post, I lamented that the President’s average approval was at 44.9. Now, at the end of the day, with the addition of the latest NBC/Wall St Journal poll, the drop in both the Gallup and economist polls, the President’s average has dropped a whole point from last night.
|RCP Average||10/17 – 10/29||—||43.9||51.6||-7.7|
|NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl||10/25 – 10/28||800 A||42||51||-9|
|Gallup||10/27 – 10/29||1500 A||42||50||-8|
|Rasmussen Reports||10/27 – 10/29||1500 LV||47||52||-5|
|The Economist/YouGov||10/26 – 10/28||662 RV||44||54||-10|
|FOX News||10/20 – 10/22||1020 RV||41||53||-12|
|CBS News||10/18 – 10/21||1007 A||46||49||-3|
|ABC News/Wash Post||10/17 – 10/20||RV||46||51||-5|
|CNN/Opinion Research||10/18 – 10/20||RV||43||53||-10|
Let’s look at that again:
WOW! He’s at 43.9!
Yea, I’m still being snarky!
I still maintain any other President would be in the mid to high thirties.
