The obligatory debt ceiling hypocrisy post

I have refrained from pointing out the President’s and other Democrat’s previous positions regarding the debt ceiling.

This is because along with being a quiet man, I am also a fair man.

I am.

Really.

Okay.. a mostly fair man.

To be fair, I have to admit there is enough hypocrisy on both sides of the isle regarding the debt ceiling. Although you have to ask; how can Democrats justify being against raising the debt ceiling from $8 to $9 trillion, under President Bush, but are cavalier when it comes to raising the ceiling from $16 to $17 trillion under President Obama?

Yea, I know.

Politics.

The RNC released this new ad:

And, of course, let us not forget how then Senator Obama voted on the debt ceiling back in 2006:

Barry's vote
