A week of stupidity

A few weeks ago I posted this picture to describe my attitude towards the political atmosphere currently existing in the country:

Red fox

I came out of my hole to watch Hillary’s performance at her hearing regarding the terrorist attack on 9/11 in Benghazi or was it a protest? It doesn’t matter, according to the Former Secretary of State it doesn’t make a difference.

I decided to not return to my hole and watch the confirmation hearing Of Chuck Hagel, I skipped John Kerry’s hearing, there’s only so much pain I can endure. There are many theories as to why President Obama would nominate Hagel and why the democrats are going to march in lock step to confirm him. The reason is quite obvious: the Democrats what someone in  the government who makes Vice-President Biden look smart and if it happens that he has a “R” next to his name, all the better. Take 80 seconds to see Chuck Hagel in his glory:

I have always believed that the President of the United States should be allowed to have whoever he wants to serve in his cabinet, barring some glaring ethical issue. I never thought it would be necessary to also add stupidity as a disqualifying factor, but there you have it.

Last week we also saw the Administration come out and clarify its position on the contraception mandate. This allowed us to once again hear from the poster child of thirty-year-old women law students who want free contraception:

Okay, she’s comparing contraception to leukemia treatments.

You can’t make this stuff up, nobody would believe it.

Oddly enough, this was not the most stupid thing that happened last week. No, we were also blessed with this:

Obama skeet shooting

While we were told that this is a picture of President Obama skeet shooting, there has been a detailed analysis of the picture and the truth has been revealed as to the true nature of the target:

Obama target practice

And now to end this silliness:

Barack is hunting skeets

THA-THA-THA THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
